a mystery with romance and attitude

Suicide by BMW? Or murder? When L.A. attorney Berry McKenna finds her best friend and fashion icon, Deanna Coburn, dead in the driver’s seat, she knows it was murder. After all, Deanna never would’ve killed herself wearing a Juicy Couture jacket from last season. Now Berry’s got to convince the police to start looking for a killer. But delectable Detective Ethan O’Reilly is a hard sell, so Berry must search for truth and justice on her own—even if it kills her.

Deanna’s ex-husband, his airhead girlfriend, her anal-retentive psychiatrist, Big John the crazy shoe man—is one of them the murderer? Closer to home, Berry’s eccentric mother keeps sneaking out of the house disguised as a homeless woman to do research for her latest screenplay, there’s an arsonist burning down buildings in her Venice Beach neighborhood, and her other clients are getting cranky. But meanwhile, a killer’s on the loose, bodies are stacking up, and Ethan realizes he’s got to sprint to keep up with Berry and her sexy stilettos if they expect to outwit an evil murdering freak.

a sexy contemporary romance with a light paranormal twist

When your mother’s your guardian angel, all hell’s sure to break loose...

Christy Lovejoy tried to leave home and never look back, but things didn’t work out that way. Now she’s back in Parker’s Folly, running a successful family law practice. But she’s got issues. Her dad keeps setting her up on blind dates and she’s got her long-dead mother’s voice in her head, nagging her about everything from the panties she wears to the men she won’t date.

Ex-LAPD detective Jack McKay took the job of Chief of Police in the Northern California seaside town of Parker’s Folly to provide a better quality of life for his seven-year-old son, Tyler. Jack has no time for diversions such as women and dating and sex and fun. That’s his story, anyway—until Christy walks into his life.

But after her new client’s soon-to-be-ex-wife is murdered, Christy finds herself at the top of Jack’s suspect list. Still, being a suspect is preferable to being the next victim, which is what she’ll be if she can’t stay one step ahead of a cold-blooded killer. Luckily, Jack’s on the case and he’s got back-up—Christy’s mom. She may have been dead for ten years, but a mother’s work is never done.

a Young Adult paranormal romance

A month before Madison Prescott’s sixteenth birthday, she finds out her father wants her to spend the summer with him at his home in Scotland. Not such a big deal, except Madison always thought her father was dead. Turns out, he’s...undead. Like, King-of-the-Vampires Undead. Which makes Madison a princess, right? Great. Who wants a princess with fangs?

It must be a mistake. Madison believes in making healthy food choices and getting enough sleep at night--unlike Vampires, duh. Plus, she’s got her whole life mapped out: college, marriage, career, everything. Nowhere on that map does it say “Become Dark One: Suck Blood.” So naturally, she’s inclined to tell Daddy Dreariest to hit the road.

But then she actually meets Dad and he’s like a total rock star! And no visible fangs! So Madison goes off to visit Dad’s castle in Scotland, where all sorts of oddballs reside, plus there’s this really cute boy who works in the castle stables. While getting to know her new subjects and brushing up on her horse-riding skills, Madison takes a crash course in Vampire Policies and Procedures to learn everything she needs to know before turning immortal on her sixteenth birthday--if she lives that long. Because clearly, not everyone is thrilled about the new Vampire Princess in town, and Madison finds herself the target of a vicious Vampire slayer.
